Audiologist wins gold with power one

power one team visits the lucky winner

The "gold package", which was introduced and successfully sold by VARTA Microbattery GmbH in 2011 as part of a promotion with power one hearing aid batteries, now has a winner. Key Account Manager Nuri Zengin and Sonja Peitl-Steinert from the Marketing & Communications department handed over the prize of one troy ounce of gold to Thomas Hebbel, a hearing aid audiologist and coowner of a specialist hearing aid shop in Munich called Schleicher & Hebbel Hörsysteme GmbH.

"Maintaining good, long-term relations with our customers is very important to us. Gold embodies this particular value very well as it holds its value," explained Nuri Zengin as he handed over the prize to Thomas Hebbel, who had bought the winning package through his supplier Phonak.

The "gold package" was introduced at EUHA 2011 and was available until the end of last year. It was made up of a selection of power one hearing aid batteries and a scarf as an attractive winter accessory. A certificate that came with the package also enabled the purchaser to take part in a prize draw for the main prize, one troy ounce of gold.

To mark the launch of a new generation of mercury-free hearing aid batteries, power one has introduced a new promotion. Very soon, "energy" packages with Zinc Air mercury-free hearing aid batteries will be available. In addition to mercury-free hearing aid batteries from the new and world's largest hearing aid battery factory in Ellwangen, these will also contain certificates for a prize draw. This time there will be a total of 10 valuable silver coins featuring images of Australian animals to be won.
